As we embark on another exciting year, I am thrilled to welcome you to our website. As the President of the Board of Trustees, I鈥檓 honored to be part of a school with a rich legacy of academic excellence dating back to 1962 in Rabat.

Our mission is to cultivate passionate, curious, and confident learners who thrive in an inclusive environment where each individual鈥檚 unique strengths are celebrated. With the arrival of our new School Director, Ken Fernandez, we are excited for the fresh perspectives and continued growth that will help shape the future of our community.

Board Overview

The Board of Trustees plays a vital role in overseeing the governance and strategic direction of the school. It sets policies that align with the school鈥檚 mission and values, ensures financial stability through budget approval, and financial oversight, and holds the school鈥檚 leadership accountable for achieving the institution鈥檚 goals. The Board is responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and managing risks to protect the school鈥檚 reputation and assets. It also oversees the physical infrastructure and facilities, ensuring they meet educational needs and regulatory standards. Additionally, the Board advocates for the school within the broader community, fostering relationships with external stakeholders and supporting the school鈥檚 commitment to accreditation and quality education. Ultimately, the Board ensures the school stays true to its mission, offering a high-quality, student-centered education that values cultural diversity, fosters inclusivity, and promotes a global perspective in a safe and supportive environment.

Meet The Board

Board Committees

Members work collaboratively to oversee key areas such as finance, policy & governance, institutional advancement, and facilities, ensuring the school鈥檚 continued growth and alignment with its mission.

Finance Committee

The Board鈥檚 Finance Committee oversees the school鈥檚 financial health, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation, ensuring sound financial management and long-term sustainability.

Institutional Advancement Committee

The Board's IAC supports the school鈥檚 mission by providing strategic direction, oversight, and resources for fundraising, alumni relations, marketing, and communications. The IAC committee will work to enhance the school鈥檚 visibility, reputation, and financial sustainability.

Facilities Committee

The Board鈥檚 Facilities Committee oversees the maintenance, development, and improvement of the school鈥檚 physical infrastructure, ensuring that the campus meets the needs of the community.

Policy & Governance Committee

The Board鈥檚 Policy and Governance Committee is responsible for reviewing and developing school policies, ensuring effective governance practices, evaluating the Director, and setting the academic calendar, all while supporting the Board in maintaining its roles and responsibilities.

Sustainability

Ensure the school鈥檚 long-term viability through fiscal responsibility, strategic planning, and a strong focus on sustainability and optimization.

Board & Director Collaboration

Hire and evaluate a Director to oversee the school鈥檚 daily operations, providing support and fostering opportunities for growth to ensure 91果冻传媒 delivers a high-quality education for students. The Director will maintain 91果冻传媒 as an employer of choice, offering a dynamic, supportive environment that attracts and retains exceptional faculty and staff.

Policies & Procedures

Establish effective policies, streamlined procedures, and state of the art facilities to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for 91果冻传媒 students and staff.

Financial Oversight

Approve the budget and provide financial oversight to ensure responsible fiscal management, with a focused allocation of resources toward enhancing learning and creating opportunities for growth.

Meet The Board

Nine voting Trustees are elected or appointed for three-year terms by the association membership. Non-voting members of the Board include an Honorary member, the Director, the PTA President, the Faculty Representative, and a US Ambassador-appointed representative.
